Many people in New Orleans live with HIV. Our city actually has one of the highest rates of new HIV cases in the United States. St. Thomas wants to help by making testing, treatment, and prevention easy to get.

Prevent HIV
- PrEP is a daily pill that stops HIV before it starts
- It works very well – it can stop HIV 99% of the time
- You can get PrEP at St. Thomas regardless of your ability to pay
- We help with insurance and medicine costs

If you have HIV, we offer:
- Full HIV care
- Help getting your medicine
- Additional support services from the Ryan White Program.
- Regular check-ups
