The Donald T. Erwin Center is the large yellow medical facility located in the Lower Garden District neighborhood of New Orleans. Just around the corner from the St. Thomas Community Health Center location on St. Andrew St., this facility also serves the surrounding community as well as the greater New Orleans area. Our vision is to help improve the health of underserved populations in our communities by providing affordable, quality healthcare to all those in need. We are committed to creating a proactive and prevention-based primary care system by engaging with patients and empowering them to live healthy lifestyles.

St. Thomas is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), as designated by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA). We provide a range of services including but not limited to adult primary care, pediatrics, mental health counseling, infectious disease services, and more. We offer high-quality healthcare to all regardless of insurance status or ability to pay. We accept Medicare, Medicaid, and most insurance plans in addition to offering a sliding payment scale for the uninsured or underinsured.
