Women Opening a Letter in the Mail

Medicaid Alert [2023]

Medicaid Annual Renewals Will Restart April 1, 2023

Due to COVID-19, Medicaid renewals were paused, but they’re coming back! Starting in April, Louisiana Medicaid must re-start eligibility reviews and close anyone who is not eligible. Eligibility reviews are also called renewals. Not everyone will renew at the same time. It will take 12 months to renew all Medicaid members.

Don’t wait – update and stay covered!

Call Medicaid Customer Service toll free at 1-888-342-6207 or go online by visiting the Medicaid Self-Service Portal to update your address.

After confirming your address, be on the lookout for a pink letter in the mail. If you receive one, follow the instructions to ensure you keep your coverage.
