For breast cancer screenings, the breast center staff is happy to help you schedule your imaging at the center of your choice. Just call 504-529-5558 and select option 4 for Mammography.
For Cervical cancer screenings, please either call to schedule an appointment, or request an appointment online.

The LBCHP (Louisiana Breast & Cervical Health Program) helps us support our women’s health program. We’re committed to working toward a healthier Louisiana, and we are very grateful to share that mission with the LSU School of Public Health.
As you may know, Louisiana has some of the highest breast and cervical cancer death rates. Access to screening is one of the best ways we can help support women in our community.
The LBCHP helps reduce barriers to screening services in several critical ways.
- Cost: Screening can be expensive. The LBCHP provides women with access to the screening they need.
- Transportation: Speak to our team and we can assist you in getting to your appointments.
- Knowledge: We can help you with emotional support throughout the screening process.
