Due to COVID-19, Medicaid renewals were paused, but they’re coming back! Starting in April, Louisiana Medicaid must restart eligibility reviews and close anyone who is not eligible. Eligibility reviews are also called renewals. Not everyone will renew at the same time. It will take 12 months to renew all Medicaid members.

It is important to see you when you need us either for an urgent problem or for routine primary care. We know that work, transportation, child care, and lots of other issues make it hard to keep appointments. Call us at 504-529-5558 or submit an appointment request form on the day that is right for you. Our phones open at 7 a.m. and we will continuously monitor the website requests as well. Contact us as early as you can.
If you have to book an appointment for a different day than the day you’re booking it because of Medicaid and Medicare transportation, let us know when you contact us.
