With proper screening and regular Pap Smears, cervical cancer can often be found early. Cervical cancer is one of the most treatable cancers so it is extremely important patients schedule regular screenings to monitor their cervical health. The St. Thomas obstetrics team offers a range of preventative and treatment measures.

Mammography
Mammography is the primary means of detecting breast cancer. This screening process consists of using low-energy X-Rays to detect masses in the breast. St. Thomas offers screening mammography for women ages 40 years old and up.
