Phuong Tran, MD serves as the Chief Information Officer for St. Thomas Community Health Center.  He has been at the Health Center since 2003 and oversees the development and delivery of IT strategy and operations, implementation of EHR, and analytics at the Health Center and its New Orleans-based FQHC service sites.  Dr. Tran received his Doctorate in Medicine from the Tulane University School of Medicine and received his Bachelor of Science degree from Tulane as well.  Dr. Tran is also involved in capital building program development, expanding the Health Center’s clinical operations to a multi-level state-of-the-art facility.
