PrEP Like a Boss

PrEP empowers you to take control of your sexual health, protecting you from HIV through either a daily pill or an injectable form 💪🏿

Injectable PrEP is highly effective for adults and adolescents weighing at least 77 lbs, and is a great alternative for those who have difficulty taking oral PrEP as prescribed, prefer a shot every 2 months over daily oral medication, or have serious kidney disease that prevents the use of oral PrEP medications.

A Night With NAMI
We’re proud to have been the ‘Raising HOPE’ sponsor at NAMI New Orleans’ inaugural spring event on Saturday, May 20th. The event honored the late Anne Ford Heard and The Honorable Calvin Johnson.

Over 130 guests celebrated the impact of both the late Anne Ford Heard and Judge Calvin Johnson.

Upon accepting his gift, Judge Johnson emphasized the importance of “understanding and learning that mental illness is not a choice,” a profound statement that perfectly reflects the NAMI mission.

May’s Employee of the Month
We were excited to name Wilson Morton as St. Thomas’ employee of the month for May, 2023.

Mr. Morton was nominated for his dedication to the clinic over the years, including his most recent work in helping open St. Thomas’ two new locations. He is always willing to take on tasks anywhere in the clinic, assisting many of his peers. He’s been instrumental in connecting our clinic to many community events and partners to promote our services and improve the health of all.

Not everyone will renew at the same time, and it will take 12 months to renew all eligible Medicaid members.

It is important to see you when you need us either for routine primary care, or an urgent problem. We know that work, transportation, child care and lots of other issues make it hard to keep appointments.

Memorial Day Closure

St. Thomas clinic and pharmacy locations will be closed this upcoming Monday, May 29, for Memorial Day.

Our normal hours will resume on May 30.
