    Cancer Awareness Month

    There are currently more than 18 million people living with a history of cancer in the United States. June is National Cancer Survivor Month, which is a great time to schedule an appointment and evaluate your overall health.

    National HIV Testing Day

    June 27 is National HIV Testing Day. This year’s theme is “Level up your self-love: check your status.” This day highlights the importance of valuing yourself and learning your status.

    No matter your status, getting tested is the first step to staying healthy. At St. Thomas, our providers will help you know your status no matter your financial situation.

    The Importance of Hepatitis Screening, Testing, & Treatment

    Hepatitis C is a contagious disease that affects the liver and is spread through the blood. 75-85% of people who become infected with the virus develop chronic Hepatitis C, which can last a lifetime.

    At St. Thomas, our providers can provide you with treatments that are more than 95% effective in curing chronic infection.
